Filming for 3rd Cut

From our second draft, we received feedback that one of our scenes had bad audio because we filmed outside and it was a windy day. We decided that instead of trying to edit the sound we would just re film the scene because we wanted it to be perfect.

Here are some behind the scene images of the filming process. As you can see from the images, we decided to try two different locations to shoot the re-shoot. The photo below shows our two actors, Josh and Leanne sat in "Faye's Bedroom" which is actually Georgia's room. This location was the safest option because there is nothing to affect the sound quality. Our second location was in an outdoor area, this was also filmed in Georgia's garden. There were many risks filming outside because the whole reason we had to re shoot this scene was because of the wind. To avoid this as much as we can we tried to wait until the wind had settled down for us to be able to film. It is likely that we will use the bedroom location because it has better sound and is different to previous locations that we have used. When filming in the bedroom we chose to film from two different perspectives to show different camera angles. This will help when it comes to editing the scene, if we choose to use it, as it will allow us to switch the angles. Since we were doing a re shoot we considered changing the script to see if it suits the scene better. We wanted to make it more intense between these two characters to confused the target audience as we want it to be a "who did it?" film.
We know that after filming this re shoot could possibly be the last scene we would have to film because all of the feedback we had was just about digital aspects and nothing to do with the quality of filming. This was a nice feeling for all of us because we knew that we were nearly finished and everything was going according to plan. The next step will be to edit the re shoot and then to add it into the trailer.
